How to extend your Bali visa.

Both the eVOA (30 + 30 days) and the C1 Tourist Visa, formerly B211A (60 + 60 + 60 days, up to 180 total) can be extended in Indonesia. We file the extension from our Bali office, schedule your biometric appointment and send WhatsApp updates at every stage. No visa runs to Singapore needed.

WhatsApp our office
  • Can I extend my Bali visa without leaving Indonesia?

Yes — both the eVOA and the C1 Tourist Visa (formerly B211A) can be extended in-country. You don't need to do a 'visa run' to Singapore or Malaysia. Our team lodges the extension at the relevant Indonesian Immigration office on your behalf — you only attend a single biometric appointment.

  • How much does a Bali eVOA extension cost?

The government extension fee is IDR 500,000 (~USD 35) — the same as the original eVOA fee. Add our agent fee for handling the immigration paperwork and biometric scheduling: total typically lands at USD 65–95.

  • How long does an extension take?

Plan 7–10 working days from the date we lodge. Apply at least 14 days before your current visa expires to avoid overstay risk. We send WhatsApp updates at each stage: lodged → biometric scheduled → fingerprinted → extension issued.

  • How many times can I extend the C1 / B211A?

Twice. The C1 Tourist Visa starts at 60 days on entry, then can be extended for another 60 days, then again for a final 60 days — total 180 days continuous stay. After that, you must leave Indonesia or convert to a different visa class (e.g. KITAS).

  • Can I extend the eVOA more than once?

No. The eVOA is extendable only once, for an additional 30 days (60 days total). For longer stays you need the C1 Tourist Visa from the start. We can't convert an extended eVOA to a C1 mid-trip — you'd have to leave and re-enter.

  • Do I need to attend an immigration office in person?

Yes — for the biometric (fingerprint + photo) appointment only. It's a 15–20 minute visit at the immigration office for the area you're staying in (Denpasar, Singaraja, Jimbaran or wherever your address is). Our agent escorts you if you'd like, or sends written instructions if you prefer to go alone.

  • What documents do I need for an extension?

Your passport, your current visa receipt, a recent passport-style photo, and your Indonesian accommodation address. For the C1 you also need a sponsor letter — we provide ours as part of the service.

  • What happens if I miss the extension deadline?

Indonesia charges IDR 1,000,000 (~USD 65) per day of overstay. Long overstays (typically over 60 days) can result in deportation and re-entry bans. Always start extensions at least 14 days before expiry — we send reminders by WhatsApp.
