KITAS Residence Permit
A limited stay permit for people who plan to live in Indonesia. We handle every variant — working, investor, retirement, family, student and digital nomad.
About this visa
Live, work, study or retire in Indonesia legally.
A KITAS — Kartu Izin Tinggal Terbatas — is the limited-stay permit that lets you actually live in Indonesia rather than visit it. Holders can travel in and out, open Indonesian bank accounts, register vehicles and (depending on the category) be paid locally.
The right KITAS for you depends on what you're doing here. The most common categories we lodge are working, investor, retirement, family reunification, student and digital nomad. Each has different sponsorship and document requirements.
We assess your case in a free 20-minute consultation, recommend the right category and quote a fixed all-inclusive fee — including the immigration office visits, biometrics and police registration that the permit requires.

Which KITAS is right for me?
It depends on whether you're employed locally, investing, retired, married to an Indonesian or studying. Book a free consultation and we'll tell you in 20 minutes.
How long does the process take?
Most working and investor KITAS take 3–6 weeks once documents are complete. Family and retirement KITAS can be slightly faster.
Can my family come with me?
Yes. Spouses and children up to 18 can be sponsored as KITAS dependents on most main categories.
What happens when the KITAS expires?
We renew it on-shore — there's no need to leave Indonesia. Most categories can be renewed for several cycles before you become eligible for permanent residence (KITAP).
